The Cairo Economic Court continues to examine a lawsuit filed by Mortada Mansour against a lawyer, accusing him of insult and defamation.
Earlier, Aguza investigative authorities forwarded the report submitted by Mortada Mansour to a lawyer, accusing it of insult, defamation and illegality.
The Economic Court, headed by Counselor Badr El-Sobki, ruled that the president of Zamalek Club was sentenced to six months in prison and fined £20,000 for insulting and defaming an employee of the Central Audit Organization. Case No. 113 of 2023, Financial Matters.
The Cairo Economic Court also ruled to sentence the former president of Zamalek Club to 3 months in prison and a fine of 20,000 pounds for insulting and defaming Al-Ahly Club Chairman Mahmoud Al-Khatib in Case No. 728 of 2023. The Cairo Economic Misdemeanors Association appealed the ruling and its deliberations were postponed to a meeting on February 6 next year. The defendant was present in person.
