The management of the National Woodworking Festival held in Luxor Governorate has announced the postponement of the opening of the 13th session to pay tribute to the spirit of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Leaving this Saturday morning.
A statement from the festival management said: “In view of the announcement of public condolences over the death of the Emir of the State of Kuwait and in compliance with the statement of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Nevin Kilani, the suspension of visits to cultural venues affiliated with the Ministry in the Republic starting today, Saturday Art events and activities for three days.
The statement added that it was decided to postpone the opening of the 13th National Woodworking Festival, originally scheduled for the day after tomorrow, Monday, December 18, at 8 pm at Abu El-Hagag Square in Luxor.
